CARGO SECUREMENT PLAN TEMPLATE
Document the reason behind the securement arrangement. A useful load plan records more than a tiedown count. It connects the article, vehicle, WLL basis, attachment method, blocking, cargo-specific review, and release decision. USE THIS WORKFLOW
Identify the vehicle, trip, cargo articles, weights, and dimensions. List each tiedown assembly and the WLL credited for its actual configuration. Record blocking, bracing, roll prevention, edge protection, and anchor notes. Document the cargo-specific source or procedure that was reviewed. Keep the approval, exceptions, photos, and corrective actions with the trip record. CHECK BEFORE RELEASE
Do not use a component rating higher than the lowest-rated part of the assembly. Do not treat a general calculation as the full plan for special cargo. Keep the written record consistent with the arrangement actually used. Revisit the plan when equipment or load configuration changes. Planning and documentation aid only - not a compliance certification. Terms Privacy
